I got this chair for my office. I work as a therapist which means I am sitting most of the day. The chair I had was a cheap $150 chair from Staples, and it was causing me significant back pain and was just generally uncomfortable. This chair Pro 633 is at least 3x more comfortable. I say its a solid recommendation from my friend. I am very happy with my purchase. Will update if chair doesn't hold up.
The chair is nice, the arm rests could be more comfortable/adjustable. It is a good chair for the price paid I believe.
Excellent Office Chair
At first I was hesitant to spend almost $400 for a chair, but no regret now. At arrival, first thing I noticed when I opened the box, is the chair don't have that heavy plastic odor that takes weeks to fade out. I love the ergonomic mobile long back rest that provides good support even when you move you shoulder side to side. The firm heavy padded cushion is another plus which I enjoy. I never did like the mesh cushion as they tend to stretch out over time. I think this chair helps corrects my poor posture when sitting for long periods of time. This chair also has the right amt of adjustments - lean back with lock, height adjustment, cushion horizontal adjustment and arm rest adjust very well too. However, I did have an issue with the foot rest that easily slides out of its compartment every time I move the chair. This was quickly resolved by the Customer Service department and they shipped me a new cushion/footrest as replacement. I will recommend this chair to my friends.
Great chair, but some reservations.
Great comfortable chair. Very comfy to sit in and I haven't noticed any discomfort in my back. However, I do have some complaints. The armrests become irrelevant when reclined back. The armrests are adjustable up and down and the top adjusts forward, but when leaned back the armrests stay forward and you have to extend your arms far forward to be able to rest your arms on them. As I'm sitting now my arms are nearly completely straight to be able to type on my keyboard while resting my arms on the rests. If you lower your armrests lower to sit closer to your desk to prevent from having to extend your arms so straight then your forearms sit on the back edge of the rests with your elbows off the back edge constantly pulling your arms to slip off the back. I'm finding myself just folding my arms across my chest or waist when not typing and reclined because the rests require you to hold your arms so far forward to keep your arms positioned on them. There are three solutions I see to this problem: #1. Allow the armrests supports to be adjusted forward and back. On some desk chairs the arm rests are hinged at the seat bottom to allow them to be angled forward and backward to prevent this problem. #2. Make the tops of the rests bigger. This pretty much explains itself. Bigger rests that extend backwards farther. #3. Make the back of the chair lock while still being able to recline the whole chair. The problem is only a problem because the backrest reclines back separately from the seat bottom which is where the arm rests are attached. Most chairs the seat back and seat bottom are fixed so the arm rests stay in the same position in relation to the person sitting in it. But if you unlock the chair to be able to recline at the seat bottom, the back also unlocks. So a way to unlock the seat bottom recline feature while leaving the seat back locked would work as well.
Hi Matthew, Thank you so much for your review. Appreciate this specific feedback very much. We will collect all feedback and report it to the product design department. Thanks again.
Wow - what a great chair!
This chair certainly delivers what the vendor promises and more. The assembly is easy, all parts provided are of very high quality (there is absolutely nothing cheap on this chair), and the chair itself is probably the best ergonomic desk chair I have had (and I have had chairs in the $750 to $1,000 category before).
Took just a few minutes to assemble and this chair is like sitting on a cloud compared to my last one. Definitely recommend.
I Hate My Chair
I am terribly disappointed the chair is short, I'm tall the height does not rise as much as I expected. I changed the wheels as recommended. Lower Back rest lacks support.
Hi Shirley, Thank you for your feedback and sorry for this issue. The height of the seat is 17-19 inches. Hope the new set of the wheels can solve it and please reach us by firstname.lastname@example.org. We will give you the good solution. Meanwhile, we would suggest to buy a chair by following the steps here: https://bit.ly/3NAPT27 Thank you.
Recently purchased as sitting long hours working from home. Good chair for me ( average height & weight ). I can use base adjustment and armrest along with lower back support ( that was plus and similar to my office chair at work building).
